In today’s sermon,
Pastor Robie finishes the series on “Hidden Figures”. This series is about five women in the Bible who are part of Jesus’ lineage. These women did not have glorious lives in which they were praised by their peers and family. Many of these women were looked down upon and thought to be living immoral lives. God had a plan for these women just like He does for each of us. Follow along as we look at Bathsheba. Bathsheba is often thought of as a seductress, but was she? She is portrayed as exposing herself so that people could see her, but the scripture does not say that, nor does it make sense that she should have expected anyone to be watching. What is clearly outlined in the scriptures is that David’s actions were wrong and that he had displeased the Lord. The Bible never places any fault or blame on Bathsheba.
