On today's What America's Thinking, Hill Reporter, Morgan Chalfant, joins Hill TV to breakdown the Trump administration's latest efforts in fighting COVID-19. A new Hill/HarrisX poll finds 61% of voters agree the Trump administration is taking strong enough measures to stop or slow the spread of the virus. Karlyn Bowman, public opinion analysis and senior fellow at AEI, explains the "rally effect" and how it could be impacts a president's approval during times of crisis and Democratic strategist, Kristian Ramos talks about the effect of Trump's handling of the pandemic.

The Hill/HarrisX survey was conducted online within the United States from March 14-15, 2020 among 2,001 registered voters by HarrisX. The sampling margin of error of this poll is plus or minus percentage points. The results reflect a nationally representative sample of registered voters. Results were weighted for age within gender, region, race/ethnicity, income, political party, and education where necessary to align them with their actual proportions in the population.
